Going home, yet again

*I have so much in my mind that sometimes I wish I didn't think so much, didn't worry too much, didn't care too much... Despite this, I must say that I have improved alot this year, I have learned to put aside things which are not significant; I have learned to avoid things that make me unhappy; and instead focus on things which are worth it, things which mean a certain something to me..*

:)

I am moving out of my place in a days' time, in which I also have an exam paper on that day. I have to pack my whole unit into boxes, pack my luggage to be brought back to Malaysia, and study. Yes, am quite stressed. Sigh.

I took pictures of the favourite spot in my room; pictures I posted up on my wall to remind me everyday how fortunate I am to be surrounded by people who cares for me, and people I care about dearly.

I'm an S fan as you can see,

beautiful on the inside, and the outside :)

Each time I'm about to fly home, I will still always have that strong anticipation and the i-cannot-wait-to-go-back feeling... and I'm glad to be feeling this way, because
home will always be home.

This is to a dear old friend of mine,

... she gave me one of the best and most memorable birthday presents I could ever remember;

a handmade photo album,

with wonderful little quotes everywhere,

and pictures of our highschool times in the first few pages of the album,

for my 15th birthday present- it's been 6 years.

To the b'day girl: you probably didn't think I remember, did you? I do :)

I came across this album when I was unpacking my things at my new house back in KL, and took a pic of it. So happy to be able to find it in my pictures folder and uploaded it :)

During our farewell outing @ 1U before I came to Aussie;
I still remember we ate at Old Asia, hehe...

*miss you & that silly boy on the left alott!*

... But most of all, she's one kind-hearted soul who puts her friends above herself.. She never fails to remember her good friend's birthdays, and always takes the effort to come up with something special, to give to that someone.

A pic of just the both of us, 2 years ago
(when I was fitter & slimmer LOL & had to rely on glasses because my eyes were allergic to contacts hehe. thank goodness those days are over ;p)

P.S. Allow (pardon) me to digress for abit- can't believe it's been one and a half years since I did lasik. Can't believe that I could actually pass to do lasik in the first place- didn't think I could as my allergy was really bad. Very fortunate and thankful that my eyes have been problem-free so far. In fact, my dry eyes syndrome has reduced after lasik! So weird, especially when it's supposed to be drier due to the thinner layer of cornea.

Anyhow, happy 21st birthday, tze yee :)

thank you for being a good friend all these years, even now when we're far apart.

'River flows in you' by yiruma

and i smiled; throughout when this song was played..

it reminded me so much of this friend i made last semester, and how much we've grown close by talking almost everyday.. and how much i enjoyed talking to him because he's very different from others, in the way he thinks and acts- intriguing.

he was also the one who introduced me to this song. and the wonders of yiruma. a great pianist my friend was; determined and good, yet humble.

i wonder how's he doing now in his exchange programme..
