I just realised that the colour of my fonts are suited based on my blog's previous background colour... and so, there are words which might seem invisible! So sorry.. I'm just too lazy to change it all.. =S

Gosh, New year's eve is tomorrow(today actually!).. Time flies like nobody's business! Quite scared actually, not exactly scared, but excited and can't wait to anticipate the New Year.. I hope and am sure as hell it's gonna be an amazing one :)

Today, my whole family underwent monodieting. Yes, you've heard that right! Lol apparently they've done it twice so far when I was in Melb.. It's a once a month thing! Dad says it's good for health.. yadeeyadaa! But you get the point :P

So of course, anything that is benefitial to me, I will definitely give it a try.

Abstracted from a website:

The purpose of monodieting is twofold.

The first purpose is to use as little energy as possible on digestion so that energy can be freed and directed toward the cleansing and rejuvenation of the lymph system.
The second purpose of monodieting is to obtain the maximum amount of fuel and nutrients from the food being eaten.

So okay la, everything was going on well..
1.30pm(I woke up late you see, unlike my whole family who has 2 to 3 "diets" before me already)- Orange juice, grapes, mangoes
4.30pm- Watermelon juice, pears, apples
5.30pm- ??!!

What happened at 5 30 pm you ask?!

My mom & Shaun wasn't feeling so good and wanted FOOD! Like REAL FOOD.. so they requested for kuay teow.. I was still standing strong then, almost, almost didn't want to give in to these temptations hehe.. But obviously, it's food, hello.. And it's wei lynn, hello.. Wei Lynn & Food? They go HAND-IN-HAND...

There goes my first ever monodieting session, ruined! Sighh, if only I trepassed these temptations... It's okay... My next monodieting session will be completed successfully.

Tomorrow(today) morning at 7 30 a.m., Pa, Ken & I will be on the LRT heading towards KLCC.. Lol it's a trial run! That's 'cause I will be sitting the LRT everyday to work starting Wednesday.. My first internship ever! Can't wait! =p I really, really am determined to learn as much as I can.. So, hope all goes well lah :) *waking up is sooo gonna be a pain though*

Hmm, my mom asked Ken to write an essay on "What's important to me(as in Ken himself)" and she forwarded it to all of us(family). I just read it and I am soo touched and proud of him! Just like what my mom said in the title of the email.. Remember Ken, we're all so proud of you- dare to dream big, and go all out to achieve it. Nothing is impossible as long as you put your heart into it. Jie's here to support you in anything that you do.

One sentence, no wait, two, in his email touched my heart. I didn't know he enjoys listening to me talk & tell all my stories. :)

You know, sometimes you just gotta sit back and reflect on life.

Three very important questions you must always ask yourself wherever, whenever, if you're ever in doubt:
#1 Where am I?
#2 Where am I heading?
#3 What am I gonna do to head there?

Thank you, mummy, for always incalculating good values in us, sharing your insights and wisdom, bringing us back to our senses before we go overboard, for letting me do what I want always knowing that you're there with me, for giving me nothing but the best.. I love you.

New Year comes along with new goals!

PJ just told me not to wish anyone Happy New Year the day before.. It's bad luck or something.. So I'll just innovate a bit lah okay and hereby wishing everyone: AN AWESOME NEW YEARS EVE & AN EVEN MORE AWESOME NEW YEAR TO COME! :) :)

Lots of love,
Lynnie.

My Singapore trip now =)

It was a family trip and we drove down.. yes a longg 5/6 hours drive.. Nonetheless it was good as it was something different, my dad's not much of a driving kinda guy you see.. But this time we managed it! :)

We stayed at Pan Pacific Hotel.. We went to visit relatives, visited my grandma, Mom went for her meetings, I met up with some friends, we all did some light shopping, took lotsa pics. Basically- it was a chilling trip, though my bro ken and i had naggings from parents as we woke up pretty late everyday.. They were saying how are we gonna maximize time when we're in Bangkok. Haha. Don't worry pa & my, in bangkok, I will be up when the sun is up!! =D haha..

3 of Us- Thanks so much guys for your time and all!!

Oh and on one of the nights, where my family decided to call it a night pretty early, my bro & I decided to head down to the hotel lounge for a drink! Come on, we're teenagers okay so must be adventorous a bit! Can't just go to sleep before midnight during a holiday, right? :)

That's Ken with his beer :)

And me with my Pacific Punch :)

The singer that night.. was not good la! I requested 4 songs and they only sang 1 song.. even then it was the Pianist who sang it, not her! I tell you, maybe, *maybe* I could have sang better.. Cheh I'm super perasan.. Lol..

SHIOK Maki- Heavenly combination of charcoal grilled eel wrapped with lightly roasted salmon
(one of our dishes during lunch in Food Republic, Suntec City)

Also, I met up with some Uni friends! Hehe.. That's what I love about studying overseas, it's like wherever you go, you get to meet up with friends from everywhere. :)

And! My highschool(WMS) friends from UK are all back for Christmas & New Year's! Namely ding shyong and dian hoong =) I remember being really close to ds last time in form 2 & 3.. He was the one who intro-ed me to chinese music, and he's a very good listener.. He's my beloved pet bro =) I used to play badminton with dh too.. and take chinese tuition with him. Never really got to keep in touch with him.. Hmm it's okay now we will! :)

Anyway we met up @ Midvalley for a movie: National Treasure 2. It was an enjoyable movie la!! And we ended up walking around The Gardens.. Lol if it were not for friends who ask me to these places like Pavillion and The Gardens, don't think I'd even visit them anytime soon! I'd probably stick to One u & the curve first :)

Pet bro & I under the cute mushroom!!

And on Sunday(16th Dec), it was Mandy's birthday party @ her place! Her very very exquisite, distinct, fabulous house.. The design, interiors, everything.. is amazing. Your jaw will literally drop if you ever get to see her house! I'm serious! I always, always look forward to going to her place.. :)

Yes, she has a pool in her house! The room facing the pool is the guest room and I've slept in it before!! The feeling of waking up in the morning facing such beautiful sceneries.. man.. Oh and this whole area is right beside a golf course!

Drinks zone.. Lol..

The birthday girl(looking stunning) & I!

Uncle Richard(Mandy's dad) & I

Oh did I mention that it's a tradition that we have Margaritas everytime we set foot inside Mandy's house for some occassion? Her dad is no.1 in making margaritas!! He makes the BEST ones I tell you.. Plus, it's free flow too :P nice eh! hehe.. So yes, cheers to good health and all uncle!

On the same day, I met up with Suyan & Ming @ The Curve.. I picked "The Apartment" because I have heard so much about it when I was in melbourne.. Ming came all the way down from Kuantan.. so of course must meet up lah right? Like if I were to go all the way to Kuantan, I'm sure he'll meet up with me too. :) Or anyone in any other states for that matter..

Anyway, we weren't hungry so we ordered 2 desserts:

Banana crepes(recommended by the waiter) but it wasn't any good at all!! =(

Hmm, paplova something.. Okay this is so-so.. Quite disappointing lor these 2 desserts..

Anyhow we walked around a bit and the christmas trees there were AWESOME!! I quickly took out my camera and took pics.. Hehe..
