Save tonight- eagle eye cherry ;)

*sore feet, but twas a good saturday night spent! my first saturday night since i got back not out for drinks or partying, instead i was doing something i've been wanting to do. :) what i've learned today? we make mistakes, and it feels so much better saying 'i'm sorry it's my fault' (with a smile) rather than giving all reasons to defend yourself. people have different moods at different point in time, and if they look angry or are angry at you, don't take it personally to your heart. put ourselves in their shoes, you'd want people to emphatise with you too, no? :) lastly, always put on a smile wherever you go, a smile is sweeter than any flowery words, a smile brings out the warmth in people, a smile will never go wrong :)

was trying to start on my mandarin essay this afternoon, or more like looking at the topic for the first time. i was lost. mandarin in uni is different from high school (PMR and SPM), in terms of essay-writing wise. i'm sure we malaysians were taught to choose 'pembincangan' or 'fakta-fakta' topics right back in those exam days? 'cause writing stories and fictions are just not easy, especially if you don't have a knack for imagination and a chunk of superb vocabulary. over here, all topics are on stories-alike!! *sigh* you give me a topic on 'how to curb crime' or 'put a stop to fraud' can la, but a topic on 'my first outing with a friend'?!

can't even speak a proper sentence to my mandarin coordinator now, had to re-think it over in my head and repeat it to myself a few times before i actually talk. that's what not-using-a-language-for-years does to you. despite this, i am glad that i am rekindling with the language i love now! plus, just now, i actually put this to good use when communicating/taking orders from china people! :) was pretty proud of myself, i'd say. :p

sigh, i really have to start on my marketing assignment and mandarin essay tomorrow. not to mention there's a business finance test too next week. how i'm looking forward to the end of next week already!

alrighty, off to bed now, if you hear from me soon meaning i'm procastinating yet again with my assignments! ;)
